Peyton walked out the door of the Bay Mirror and into the street. Her mother was in a meeting, so she had just left a note telling her she was planning on going after a demon. Her mother wouldn't care. Well, if she did it wouldn't matter. Peyton didn't know why she just didn't get out by thinking it, but today she decided walking would be more beneficial. She let the sun shine on her face as she took sure steps. Her tennis shoes padded the ground as she made her way to a street corner.
She decided to make a quick stop at a coffee house, entering with a ring of the bell. There was a lunch rush on this nice Saturday afternoon. She sighed and stood in line. She went to move and her foot hit the edge of a wooden shelf. She almost fell to the ground, her purse spilling it's contents. Her hands automatically went up, and the room froze. She cursed her self and shoved the items in the purse quickly. She raised her hands again and it went back to normal.
"You should be more careful," A voice stated behind her. She turned to see who it was.

x A little learning curve never hurt anybody ...Paige stepped into the local coffee house and breathed in the thick smell of coffee. If she thought she'd loved coffee before, having children had taught her that nothing cures sleep deprivation like a good coffee. She stood in line and slide her hand into her pocket, waiting as patiently as she could. When suddenly, the room around her froze.
Her senses went on high alert, searching for the danger. At once, she saw her niece, Peyton, picking up her purses contents. Paige smiled as she saw her sister's daughter throw up her hands, and the room went back into motion. She stepped up behind her niece, "You should be more careful," she said, smiling.
She liked to think she wasn't as hard on the girls for mis-using magic or making mistakes. It could get a little frustrating at times, but she reminded herself she had once done the same things. How many times had she accidentally orbed out and in when she was shocked?

Peyton winced as she turned around to see her aunt smirking at her. She gave a guilty shrug. "Sorry, I know I should watch it. You know how messy a purse mess can get. I just wasn't watching myself. At leasty I didn't leave in a heart. That would have gotten a lot more attention." She moved a little bit with the line, ordering a quick latte for her and a drink for Aunt Paige. She loved her aunt a lot, and Paige was someone she identified with. Paige was a more down to earth version of the Halliwell's, and she was more leniant. She would understand if Peyton decided to tell her if she was after a demon on her own.

x A little learning curve never hurt anybody ...Paige smiled, "Ah yes, purse messes. Hey, it could have been worse. You handled it well" she said warmly. She was proud of her, she could see how quickly her nieces and nephews, and even her own children were maturing. In fact, it made her feel a little ... old. "So what are you up to today Peyton?" she asked, eager for anything to get her mind off her increasing age.

Peyton bit her lip a little bit, feeling a twang of guilt. She knew that was a sign she wasn't supposed to be going, but she was never good at following her feelings. "Well, I just went to see Mom. She's in a meeting. Other than that, practically nothing." She was surprised at how well the lie rolled off her tongue. SHe was usually a horrible liar. Yet she had done it somehow, and it impressed her. She would tell Aunt Paige the truth with any other demon, but this demon was her personal one and she had to deal with it.
